Lil Scrappy released a new music video called “No love” featuring Tocarra (a singer from ATL, not the model). I love the video but most of all I love when a young, black, man express their emotions. the video is cute and Lil’ Scrappy looks handsome. He is on his independent grind and a Boss Chick like myself can respect it definitely!
Here are some highlights of the lyrics that stood out to me…

Yes I saw it and heard it. I thought of the blog entry you wrote about him and Diamond. I really like this song. Hope it does well for him. Hope he can get past this and move on.
Once a Capricorn falls deeply in love. Its like they can’t and will not let it go. The only person they want is the person they walked(fell) in love with whenever the love happened. My little brother is a Capricorn and two good friends are Caps. My little brother still loves the girl he fell in love with at six years old. Odd, but true. My friend is still in love with a dude that has moved on. A guy friend fell in love in ninth grade. The girl had all types of dudes and even cheated on him. He is still married to her to this day. Those lyrics are so heart felt. He was going through when he wrote every last word. Oh, Lil’ Scrappy is looking very handsome these days. What is Diamonds Zodiac sign? I wonder what she was thinking when Soulja Boy broke down at the BET awards?
Diamond was born on May 20th. On the cusp of Taurus and Gemini. Interesting. (Google is the homie..lol)
I like the song. I’ve always liked his music and never really cared to know about his private life. He’s human like everyone else.
I love Scrappy’s honesty and openness. He’s not fronting trying to act like it didn’t happen. He’ saying I’m a man and I’m hurting behind the woman I truly love. I give him props for that and more men should be motivated to express their emotions with honesty. On the other hand, this really makes me think about Erica. I can’t help but wonder how all of this makes her feel. What she and Scrappy has is nothing more than a parental relationship. Last night he said that she does not but the umph in love for him. Therefore, she needs to keep it moving. Diamond on the other hand needs to get rid of Souljah Boy because that cocaine has done numbers on him. Ultimately I’m cheering for her and Scrappy.

I was able to hear the song a while back when he first dropped the mix tape and I agree wholeheartedly….I love a man that can express his emotions! I never equated the song with his relationship with Diamond, however after being a weekly viewer of Love & Hip Hop ATL I have to come to the conclusion that the song is for and/or about the mother of his child Erica Dixon. What really solidified it for me was these last two episode where he broke up with her but is doing the thing most men do, and I use that term loosely, and leave a “prop” in the door so they can try and come back when they are done with the “moments” fuckery….IJS

I Like the song…i believe he talkin about Erica because its clear Diamond moved on with Soulja Boy….but How Scrappy gonna talk about No Love when he was suppose to be working things out with Erica but he messing around with Buckey aka Shay Johnson….smh…
